Violet Needham, born 1876 to 1967, was an extremely popular
author of children's books. Amazingly her first book did not come out until she
was 63 years of age. She may not be as popular with children today but she
certainly is with collectors or rare books. All of the books listed in the
bibliography are of collectable value. The early titles in original dust jackets
are particularly difficult to find, especially so in nice condition. None of the
titles saw an American release.
