The ninth book sees Bond in disgrace having failed his medical
due to his lifestyle, M send him to a health farm but thankfully for 007 a
Smersh agent saves him from the nightmare that is carrot juice and nut cutlets
!. The print run was huge at just over 50,000 copies so it clearly cannot
be considered a scarce book. That said copies are not as plentiful as they once
were. The worldwide collectability of these books has seen them sent all over
the world. The internet does give access to copies but they are not so common in
bookshops or at book fairs anymore. Tatty or unjacketed copies should be avoided
VG+ to fine copies being the order of the day.
