More Information
Stephen Potter, born 12 February 1900, was, despite his
relatively modest output, a singular and hugely successful humorist. He is
credited for forming his own genre, alter to become known as Pottermanship. His
work sold worldwide in great numbers turning the man himself into something of a
celebrity. For collectors the books are attainable even on a modest budget. That
said the early titles are not quite as common as one might expect, especially so
in collectable condition and with their dust jackets still present.
