Stephen Baxter is an author who has gradually built a stronger following since becoming a cult author early on in his career. The books were being sought after by collectors at a very early stage. Most of the early books listed in this bibliography are actually quite rare. Small print runs and public library copies mean fine fine editions can be both difficult and quite expensive. The author has produced several series-trilogies etc, an idea always very popular with readers, these are no exception. We have noted any series names when applicable. Any of the books which carry the printers key, or number line, should have the number 1 present, if not then it is a reprint. Collectors should be wary of anything in less than near fine condition. If on a tight budget then the rarer books may be acceptable in lesser condition, otherwise, as ever with ultra modern firsts, condition is everything.
