More Information
Sarban, born 1886 and died 1989, was a pseudonym of John W Wall
who worked for many years as a diplomat in the Middle East. he is best known for
The Sound of His Horn and The Doll Maker, both of which are keenly sought after
by modern first collectors. They are also the most valuable, though none of the
books are regarded as common. UK edition precede in all cases and are also
considerably more valuable. All of the books were reproduced by Tarturus Press
in a limited edition format, though being reprints their value as collectors
items is questionable.
