Roy Fuller, born Roy Broadbent Fuller on 11 February 1912, was
awarded a CBE in 1970. He worked initially as a solicitor before going on to
become a professor at Oxford University. He was also the recipient of numerous
literary prizes and awards. His work is sought after by collectors of first
editions and rare books. The early ones being of reasonable value. That said
they are not beyond the means of the committed collector with a reasonable
budget.
