Richard Hughes, 1900 to 1976, is best remembered today for his
novel, A High Wind in Jamaica. The book was first issued in America under a
different title. The majority of the other tiles were first printed in England.
The books are of collectable value but not so much as to put them out of reach
for anyone with a reasonable budget. There are several signed limited editions
which cost a little more but they spice a collection for those interested in
such things.
Overall a quality and original author, certainly deserving of
greater recognition and a wider audience today.
