Paul Bowles, born 1910 and died 1999, was an American novelist,
writer, poet and composer. He very versatile and talented man. Whilst his work
may not be for everyone his first novel, The Sheltering Sky, is regarded
as a cornerstone title and extremely sought after by collectors, as is his first
publication. The remaining titles command a fraction of the price but are still
collectable
