Patrick Hamilton was born in Sussex, England, on 17th March 1904.
Although his output was not prodigious it was of high quality. His best known
and most notable book was Hangover Square, or The man with Two Minds. It is now
regarded as a cornerstone title and is sought after by collectors. A film was
made from his play Gas Light though the title was all one word, Gaslight. All of
Patrick Hamilton's books are collectable now, the early titles are regarded as
rare books in first edition state ands with dust jackets. He passed away on 23rd
September 1962.
