More Information
Pat Barker, born in 1943, is a highly respected novelist and
short story writer. In 1995 she won the Booker Prize for The Ghost Road. The
first two books are the rarest, though The Eye in the Door is less common than
other titles around the period. Later titles are relatively easy to find and
should ideally only be collected in fine condition. Arguably, signed copies of
the more common titles are the wiser choice for the serious collector, given the
ease of acquiring unsigned copies.
