Michael Sadleir, born 25 December 1888 to 1957, is best remembered by the general public for Fanny by Gaslight his famous Victorian melodrama. Book collectors however will probably appreciate his bibliographical works especially those of the Victorian era. They all remain cornerstone titles today and a must for any serious collector of the genre.
