Brief Biography
Michael Arlen, born 1895,  is best known for The Green Hat and book which made him one of the most talked about novelists of the 1920s. In America F Scott Fitzgerald chronicled the Roaring Twenties and The Jazz Age, in England it was Arlen who best caught the feel of the times.
Early first editions in jacket are regarded as rare books, perhaps not as popular as before they are still sought after, anyone seeking to buy or sell  rare, secondhand or first edition books can consult our find a bookseller section.
