Mervyn Wall was born in Dublin on 23rd August 1908 the son of a
barrister. After leaving University College Dublin and did various jobs before
his first, and most famous, work appeared on stage in 1937. The rest of his work
is highly regarded and is deserving of a wider audience. The author passed away
in 1997.
