L.M. Boston, born 1892, was the author of the classic Green Knowe
series of children's books. As well as being extremely popular amongst readers
at the time they also now equally as popular with collectors. Few of the 1st
editions would be regarded as common, indeed the earliest titles in original
dust wrappers are scarce and command quite high prices. In all cases the English
editions precede the American, there is only one title change which has been
duly noted. Due to precedence and lower print runs the UK editions are
considerably more collectable than the American ones.
