Lord Byron, born 22 January 1788 - 1824, became, unusually, a legend in his own lifetime. To get into his life far exceeds the scope, or indeed purpose, of this page, we shall concern ourselves with his first editions. It must come as little surprise that these are exceptionally collectable, and of course rare. To collect all of the work listed in this bibliography, in its first issue state, is something, even if possible, that would be well beyond the means of the majority of collectors. Several original manuscripts have hit the market over the years, naturally fetching very high prices. The majority of books that turn up have been rebound either contemporaneously or more recently.
