Brief Biography
Kingsley Amis, born 1922, broke into the
literary world with his first, and best, novel, the classic
Lucky Jim. He continued to write quality literature and remains
today regarded as one of the most important English writers of
his generation. He was a big 007 fan even wrote an 'official'
James Bond novel under the name Robert Markham.
