Brief Biography
Kingsley Amis, born 1922, broke into the literary world with his first, and best, novel, the classic Lucky Jim. He continued to write quality literature and remains today regarded as one of the most important English writers of his generation. He was a big 007 fan even wrote an 'official' James Bond  novel under the name Robert Markham.
