More Information
Julian Barnes was born in Leicester in 1946. He is regarded as
one of England's finest 'new generation' of authors. Probably best known for the
Booker nominated Flaubert's Parrot, he also produced some highly regarded crime
fiction under the name Dan Kavanagh. Flaubert's and Metroland and the two
rarest, and consequently most valuable, titles. Later titles are relatively easy
to locate and collectors should only really consider fine copies, preferably
signed by the author.
