More Information
JL Carr, born 20 May 1912, has an ardent following amongst those
readers and collectors who are familiar with his work. He has attracted
something of a cult following and his first two or three books are now fairly
valuable and not common. He is also responsible for a large number of maps, all
of which are undated and were issued by the Quince Tree Press. For those wishing
to learn more about this author we would recommend The Last Englishman by Byron
Rogers, an autobiography on Aurum Press 2003.
