JB Priestley was born in Bradford England on 13th September 1894, he was from humble background and served with distinction in World War I. He was an avid writer from an early age, he met with great success both critically and financially. Whilst some of his books are still in print today he has not enjoyed the continued success of some of his contemporaries. His work is sought by collectors, especially the early titles in dust jacket
