More Information
Jacqueline Wilson, born 17 December 1945 in Bath England, is a very prolific and very popular children's author. Her work has, deservedly, received huge praise and her importance cannot be underestimated. All of this interest and adulation has sparked interest amongst collectors. Much of this interest could well be from people speculating on future values as a new generation of collectors enter the market. The early books are uncommon, later books are easy enough to locate, at the time of writing that is. Regular promotional tours and appearances mean that these later books are not uncommon signed. Serious collectors may only want to consider a signed copy in some cases. Her most popular character is Tracy Beaker.
