More Information
Irwin Shaw, real name Irwin Gilbert Shamforoff 27 February 1913 in New York. He is best known for The Young Lions. His work, for the main part, was all published first in America and the US first editions are more sought after by collectors. The earliest and most popular titles do now attract collectable values. Later titles saw prolific print runs and should be obtainable at very modest prices.
