More Information
Henry David Thoreau, 1817 - 1862, only had two books published during his lifetime. Posterity has been kinder though and his second novel, Walden, is generally agreed to be something of a classic in American literature. It is also his most valuable book, that said every item listed in this bibliography is of fairly high collectable and most are regarded as rare. He is not an author that travelled across the Atlantic, in terms of popularity but his standing is high amongst those familiar with his work.
