More Information
Field Marshall Montgomery is a legendary figure in recent British
military history. Countless books have been written about him, his life and
campaigns, here we have concentrated on the books he actually wrote himself. We
shall not drone on with the usual short biography as there are much better
resources elsewhere on the internet. His work, is fairly obviously, collectable.
The later titles should be located with relative ease and without spending a
fortune, earlier titles tend to be a little more expensive, especially so if
they are fine copies in dust jacket. The real area of interest in this field is
in signed or association items or ephemera. Care needs to be taken though, big
ticket prices are only achieved for truly interesting signed items.
