Dudley Pope was a highly respected non fiction author before
dipping his toe into fictional water (pun intended !). He did not perhaps
achieve quite the same levels of success enjoyed by the like of O'Brian and
Forester but the books are well crafted and still enjoy good standing amongst
collectors and readers alike. Some titles are out of print and only available
through secondhand dealers.
