Douglas Reeman is not only one of the most prolific maritime fiction writers but also one of the most popular. He also writes under the pseudonym Alexander Kent. His series character is Richard Bolitho who rises through the ranks as the series progresses, al la Hornblower. A highly consistent writer who never lets his readers down he is to be highly recommended to those not yet familiar with his work. The majority of titles are, I believe, in print but any that are not or for rare first editions and collectable copies please check our secondhand booksellers section which may be of some assistance.
