David Robbins is an American author who also, at the time of
writing, works as a university lecturer in creative writing. His work has meet
with considerable success, both critically and commercially on both sides of the
Atlantic. His second book, War of the Rats, was used as the basis for the
excellent film Enemy at the Gates in which Jude Law starred as the famous
Russian soldier.
The books are attracting the attention of collectors but, once
again at the time of writing, remain comfortably with reach of most. Indeed, a
full set can be put together for a very reasonable sum, as to how long this will
remain possible we shall have to wait and see!.
