Damon Runyon, born in America 4 October 1880, was a legendary
Broadway figure. Given the content of the books and the authors home country it
is of little surprise that the books are more highly valued by American
collectors that English. His key title, somewhat obviously, is Guys and Dolls.
It needs no introduction and is a very valuable book, the US edition in original
dust jacket particularly so. There is also a great deal of interest in ephemeral
items, especially anything signed or annotated.
