More Information
Colin Thubron, born 1939 in London and educated at Eton, is
thought of in the first instance as a travel writer though he is also a
successful novelist. His novels are collected though his travel books are more
valuable. None of the books listed are particularly rare, or indeed
prohibitively expensive. It is possible to put together a full set of first
edition within a reasonable budget and time frame. Colin Thubron has also been
the recipient of several prestigious awards and is, in our opinion, an
underrated author in terms of collectability and value, something that could
well alter.
