More Information
Christina Rossetti, born 1830 to 1894, is a very important
writer. Her life is widely covered elsewhere so we shall not go on about it
here. Her first edition works are extremely collectable, and do attract
considerable sums. Whilst prices for early work is probably beyond most
collectors budgets there is still plenty of scope to build a collection without
selling the farm. Her popularity has ensured numerous reissues and reprints,
many of which are in attractive bindings, making them a very viable alternative.
