Antonia White, real name Eirene Adeline Botting, was born 31
March 1899 - 1980, is best known for her first book, Frost in May. Her novels
were semi-autobiographical and found immediate favour with the public, many of
whom could personally identify with what she wrote. Her canon of work, though
modest, is sought after by collectors of 1st editions books. The first title in
dust-wrapper is especially desirable. In summary an important and leading light
in her genre.
