Anthony Hope, born 9 February 1863 in England, is best known for
his classic tale The Prisoner of Zenda. The book has remained in print
for years and its popularity has been helped by the successful film adaptation.
It comes as little surprise then that all the books listed in this bibliography
are collectable first editions. The classic and early titles attract
considerable sums. Critical as always are the presence of original bindings,
later leather bindings affect values quite dramatically. Many of the later
titles can be sourced for very reasonable prices, indeed possibly less than one
might imagine. A signature adds a great deal of interest and is a rare thing.
