Aldous Huxley wrote one of the most famous, and prophetic, novels
of the twentieth-century. Brave New World is still a set book to this day. He
was educated at Oxford and went on to teach at Eton for a year, amongst his
pupils were George Orwell and Cyril Connolly! After a brief stint in the Air
Ministry he became a newspaper critic. His first novel is critically acclaimed
as one of the funniest debut novels ever written. Brave New World was a book of
such magnitude that it has eclipsed all his other work in the eyes of many and
remains his most sought after and valuable book.
