More Information
AE Coppard, born 1878 - 1957 was renowned mainly as a short story
specialist. Much of his work did not appear in America and much also did not
find a mainstream publisher. Quite a few titles were limited editions and
private printings. Many of these are more common than one might expect,
presumably because they were bought originally by collectors and enthusiasts,
making the survival rate greater than that of standard trade editions. As usual,
the first book is the most valuable, all of the others, whilst still of
collectable value, should be within the reach of anyone on a reasonable budget. .
